UL walking trousers/setup for warm weather walking?

Decathlon Forclaz Trek 100 zip-offs. Cheap, extremely light, (260g women's M), dry very quickly, only downside is they're not stretch, but they're cut roomy enough that it doesn't bother me.

I’ve got two pairs. Excellent summer trousers with long side vents. Insect repellent too. Unfortunately expensive to buy from the US.

I've got some of those, dry faster than the stretch 500.
Mine have extra air permeability due to angle grinder sparks.

The vents on the sides of Montane Terras are great for warmer weather
I've hiked 35c+ in them and stayed reasonably comfortable temp wise

got some patagonia baggies, haven't even taken the labels off (ebay bound), to long & baggy funnily enough

tried quite a few on in the old days when you could do that kind of thing, was looking at the patagonia 9 trails running shorts online, may give them a bash

Did you get the long baggies? The best ones are the short version --only 12 cm inseam. Too baggy-you card.

You've got me looking at adding another pair of Ronnie's to the wardrobe...
Just waiting on an answer of weight to come back from amazon.
My salomon wayfarers feel light, very thin, comfy... But surprisingly heavy.
These are touted as thin and I like the phone/windproof jacket pocket on the back.

Arrived this morning.
Wore them on a short walk and car journey.

Verdict- comfortable and yes, a little less warm than tracksters, and airier and definitely smarter (though that's relative!).
I think they will definitely be coming to be trialled on my warm weather trips.

No. Just standard.

Stretch but not massively so. (less than tracksters).
