Ultra light classic games set

I've had this idea for a while and managed to get it done recently. It packs down small and for around 70g it's got:

- ludo
- snakes & ladders
- backgammon
- a version of scrabble ("bananagrams") although I might try to use the snakes & ladders board as a sort of mini scrabble board)
- chess (some slightly weird looking pieces..)
- draughts

I cut up an old washing liquid container to create the tiles and used a Sharpie pen for the letters and designs. The boards are some old stuff I found in our son's arts and crafts box. It looks like very thin CCF and came from The Works. It's great because it's light, rolls our flat, the tiles don't slip around on it and it took a Sharpie pen very nicely. My wife gave me a hand to make a little carry bag from some old ripstop to carry everything.

I reckon this will be good for travelling generally as well as camping trips.

Brilliant

We’ve got a dinky set of playing cards that fell out of a Christmas cracker about 20 years ago, probably our most traveled posession

Twister while social distancing, I want to see that.
Only to be played within members of family unit and if condition 3 is met and kept under continuous monitoring.

Battleships would be good between 2 tents - shout out the coordinates to each other whilst hunkered down. calling hit or miss back and forth. That only needs gridded paper as a basic. Long time since I played. Cant even remember the lengths for the various boats now.

Use red lamp on your head torch for more realism;)

Yes, dual use with things on both sides.

Battleships could work with the boards I made. One person has the chess board and the other (some of) the snakes and ladders.

I'm worried the alphabet spaghetti might make a mess on the twister mat, especially after a long difficult stretch.

When a young man, (when we all used yellow karrimats) a couple of us drew board games on our mats

Parchis was most popular with a larger group (mate had Spanish GF(became wife) who introduced us to it.
