You could have videoed that, posted it on youtube and made a fortune. ;)

:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Worked too many years for a California based company, i've stood up and walked away from people with the heavy cali accent.
Funny at the time cause they thought it was funny "those crazy Brits and their humour" i was being completely serious though :D

To be fair he wasn't doing the "like" "riiiiiight" "evaarr" "ohhhh my God" stuff but still the intonation kills me
It's like rubbing polystyrene blocks together

Ironic really, as i'm from Nottm.
Probably only 3rd to Birmingham and Liverpool as the worst accent evaaarr riiighhhttt

Should clarify
This is 100% my problem, the guy in the vid has the right talk however he wishes to talk.
He's like probably a really cool dude with loads of like awesome knowledge man :bag:

My crystal guro in San Fran says it's because my aura is off :whistling:

I agree on the Brum and Nottm (lived there for 3 years :muted:) …….. but you'd better leave off dissing Liverpool accents - I'm part Scouser :stop: :shifty: :cigar:

I live in Nottingham and don't seem to mind the accent at all, maybe after 12 years here I.'m immune . :D It still doesn't seem to have over written my Oz accent.

I never got used to being called 'Ducks' - only to move to Edinburgh and get refered to as 'Hen' :wacky:.
The scouser 'Luv' sounds much less fowl …...:bag::muted::oops::oops:

It's not ducks in Notts, it's "mi duck". I'm from Selston for those familiar with the NW Notts/Derbys border.

Could be worse, Pinxton and Jacksdale kinda worse :whistling:

But then i lived in Langley Mill Heanor/Codnor for many years, so stones and glass houses spring to mind :D:D:D:D:D

In fact there's not many dumps within the Nottm borders i've not been dragged up through
Hyson Green = check
Meadows = check
Bobbers Mill/Whitehall, snotty Sneinton, Carlton, Netherfield

Actually the last 2 are pretty much middle class compared to Langley mill :biggrin::biggrin::biggrin::biggrin::biggrin::biggrin:

Carlton and Netherfield are almost posh compared to so parts of this town. Strangely enough I really quite like Nottingham. :)

They've got better, Netherfield's never been too bad, used to love visiting Colwick and the gravel pits for fishing when we lived there, collecting maggots from the maggot farm not so much.

I went to school in Carlton so it's likely my mental scars are blurring my judgement :banghead:
