Best shoes in the world. I'm on the 7th pair. Been wearing them most days now at work for a few years.......it's like wearing an anti gravity footcloud.

    Serious road mile eaters too.

Concerned they'll mess with my feet with me being zero 70% of the time

    What do these weigh?

Turned out these were spot on, 217g the pair, which I think is about 30g heavier than my vivo's. Used them every day on the cwt (plus another week bimbling around the Cape Wrath area).

They were excellent in the bothies & slipping out for a 2am pee from the tent, showers in camp sites, even wore them in a couple of bars. Did one big thigh deep river crossing in them and they gripped slippy boulders/stones just fine to.

Actually like them better than the vivo's, easier to slip on/off. 8 quid well spent.

Also, typically I found my vivo's 2 days before leaving for the cwt but didn't take them, they're consigned to the reserve list now

Pretty sweet but you need to wear the string singlet (vest) to compliment them.

How's the sizing compared to other shoes. Would you size up or down?

    Yes. :)

My pairs have been spot on size. They are a true 2e width. For thick socks, go up a size unless you remove the insoles to save weight.

175g for a pair?? In men’s size? @Teepee is @Chiseller right about the weight? On websites it’s usually per shoe.

    That's what she told me.
I didn't ask what size the reference weight was :banghead: but yes for the mens...but I belive they'll be unisex. She also recommended sizing upwards if your a half size.

I'm dubious myself... Amazon don't seem to have a 'shipping weight' which is unusual?

I honestly can't remember the weight and I've got no scales here to weigh the 2 pairs I have with me. My spacer mesh versions were the lightest though of all the pairs.

I do know that all the pairs are lighter than the very lightest croc copies I have from Aldi, also pack much smaller.

    Another option: https://www.sockwa.com/footwear

I have the older G2 and G3 models (in different sizes for over bare feet in summer and with thick socks in winter), 188g and 204g.

They are lasting very well and have not been treated gently!

175g. For the pair. From a pound shop in Sicily somewhere but available in good pound shops everywhere.

Sorry for the late response @Clare, forgot.

A whopping 214g in size 11 per shoe and slightly more when I get round to adding a bit of shock cord to stop them falling off.

Yeah but what he loses to you in camp shoes he'll save in not needing your calculator...
