After lookin around the Lakes plentiful outdoors shops for a Chissler inspired Rab pulse hoody it turns out the hoody seems to be on line only.
But my wife spotted an OR Echo hoody on sale in Gaynor's in Ambleside. £29 jobs a good'n!

Also just ordered a MH kor preshell pertex air windshirt for 58 delivered from nevisport.

Bargain! I wish the Kor was longer in the body to cover my backside and all of my fleece and the sleeves could do with a smidge more length but it's a great wind shell imo. Did you size up?
  8. Enzo

    Enzo Thru Hiker

    Nope, are they small?

Just a little shorter on the body and sleeves than usual, although fairly athletic. I'm normally a large and bought a large, it's totally fine but I would prefer the little extra length that the size up would give.

I have a ghost whisperer and hoped the sizing would be close enough.
    We'll see!
    Thanks for the heads up:thumbsup:

    These are 13s
Not been able to find 12s for a year or two in my size
I liked the 12s better; but 5 pair of 13s have done OK this far

Picked up a Reversa, like the fit, very warm and versatile. Next on the agenda is a Osprey Exos 58 then Scarpa Manta GTX. Just got to sell another kidney

I've the predecessor of this, the Hypertherm Vapourlite and love it. Great bits of kit and I believe the Reversa is even warmer

There has to be some cunning plan where we can be of service to each other....

Don Corleone proposition already underway. I will see first how that goes, then perhaps...

I'm on 14s now. Go and have a look at them before you buy 13s. I find them much more comfortable and like the new tread pattern. I don't think there's quite as much fore foot support though. I need big toe box and the wide version of 14s that are only available in grey fit really well.
