I've had them on a few wet walks/runs now with unlined shoes, and they do seem to work pretty well*. Certainly in the wet peat on the moorland around my house - I was a bit paranoid about the clay around Dad's (where I've been for the last 3 months)
*get wet but get fairly dry pretty quickly. Before that I was using Bridgedale coolmax thin socks - as I haven't found any thin polyproplylene ones recently (TBH, I haven't looked very hard)

You'll find they manage sweat very well in warm conditions and the odd submersion seems a distant memory. That's what they're really designed for... Moisture management rather than full wet long term.

Pretty much my intended use. Most of my walks etc start at my house (why bother driving, when there's fairly empty moorland starting 1km away?) or farmland going to Kinder about 3km away.

Seems very similar to the Locus Gear Djedi which is almost half the price (not that that's cheap..)

More seriously, these are winter mountaineering tents for richly sponsored niche users. The company's founder is a real climber but all the text on the site, be it about the company or the products, just reeks of trite marketing copywriting.

Looks like something the Emergency services will carry you off in so you don’t fall off the stretcher.
And found that in damp conditions it isn't really breathable.
Man is even more addicted to tents than I am to packs.

New to me. Might have had a crack at it a while back, but not a that price. Pretty sweaty apparently. 20D not too shabby at that weight with all the zips.

I dont think the hip belt ever materialised, can't recall ever seeing it.
♂When wet I use a ULA rain kilt from the US. Great piece of kit doubles up as small ground sheet in my tent vestibule to keep gear off the grass; before that did go with a modified bin liner skirt.

Not sure I'd even bother with a hipbelt for such a small minimal backpack anyway. I wouldn't be packing it too heavy. Still strange that it had the attachment points but no product to marry it with like you say haha
