Winter Pants For Walking?

    I also got the scuffers so will likely use them for winter walking and the lined pants for car camping/woodland trips.

    If back in the UK or Ireland I normally wear Montane Terra's with powerstretch leggings, in the US it's normaly Paramo Cascada troos, if it's stupid cold I wear leggings under the Paramo (it's -25c this evening)

    I have ordered the Megin 2's just hope like you the XL are not too baggy. I think if they are not, then my Cascada will be redundant along with most of the rest of the wardrobe!

    Slightly baggier cut then the Geres. Fine for me in winter when I want room to move and with one or 2 layers under.

    The Gere's are great in winter too though, only in heavy rain do they need overtrousers and they come in large. I've lived outdoors in them for 6 years now.
