60 is the new 59... There are plenty of. Folks your age who have made a big turn and are now jogging regular or sportwalking
Oh, I run my Ks, more than I have ever in my life. It's just I have strong doubts I'll ever now tackle something major like a thru-hike. Its the same old story of never having had the time/money before and now I do I probably can't.

Not to say I don't have plans of course. Me and Mrs Fox have had a camp trip to Arizona planned for the last couple of years that's only on hold due to the pandemic. Also doing a Scafell Pike + Snowdon + Ben Nevis scramble next spring with me boys. Oh and at least part of the the Camino de Santiago is on the list for the next year.

Thru Hiker
I find it hard to run my K's but I can thru-hike; GR5 in 24 days last autumn....I am 60 as well.
I'm quite an experienced long-distance walker though, which I think helps with knowing how your body feels and will react on longer trips (?)
