I've bailed once due to wind - I didn't have far to go.
The tent was OK but I couldn't cope with the sensation and noise - like "being inside a washing machine/tumble dryer".

Pack crafting in Sarek. This guys channel is pretty great. He and his partner are tour guides in northern Sweden in all seasons.

The 55 is spec'd to 14-16kg & the 48 to 11-14kg.

Just got the 48 & may be pushing the envelope at the start of a week long October trip but well under by the end. Just watched a Messner video & been told the 48 is a bit small for a winter overnighter! Just as well mine is actually 51 due to being a L/XL. if I can't get my winter weekend kit in this bag I'll eat my candle! I was flicking through a few more Youtube video's from Exos 48 search. Bless the mrs in the next room within earshot of the TV - "Who are these people?"

I've carried 15kg in mine and it's ok but not ideal. 12 is considerably more comfortable though. I also feel the exos isn't really ideal for people other than those with more athletic body types as the belt is kind of modelled on having a more ideal body type.

Interesting. I've shed 5 kilo recently with more to go but I'm more Messner than Mo Farah!
Don't worry I'm not exactly shaped like a surfboard either (105kg and 6ft1 using l/xl exos) with a roughly 2 inch protruding belly. It works for me ok. But coming from other rucksacks with a much wider/stiffer/more hugging at the front hipbelt, it definitely isn't as comfy. But I'll take it as a hint to lose a bit more weight 😂

I have a bit was 55 litre (supposedly 55 litre) and I tend to use it alot more than my exos.
It feels more roomy.
Big side pockets, no lid. A small front zipped pocket.
Plenty of hidden loops.
Big hip belt pockets.
I have found the biggest downfall with it is the fact it squeaks a fair bit and not very comfy on the back and shoulders.

If it was as comfy as the ex is it would be perfect.

Can't find it on my local shop website now but here's a link to it.
