I've never found inflating a neoair much of a chore, but for the weight of this doodar, it now goes with me every time. Something nice about setting it away and coming back a minute later to find the job done.

If you flip the batteries around does it run in reverse i.e. deflate the mat ?I've never found inflating a neoair much of a chore, but for the weight of this doodar, it now goes with me every time. Something nice about setting it away and coming back a minute later to find the job done.

You got me thinking though Bopdude
If it did have suck and blow functionality, you could also use it as a dinky little tent vacuum for all those impossible to evict little bits of crud.. .
And can you imagine the cute little hoover bags that would come with it?
Plastic bag, two cable ties and a cork with a hole drilled in it....five min job
The reason I asked is that the cheapo one from Maplin does do both but I do like the one linked to
EDIT
The mind boggles at the speedy fun-time options available with that little lot
The cable-ties are a bit of give-away mind.
you'll be amazed at what you can achive with those items
But not by turning the batteries back to front though Shirley?
Please don't mess with my 'known knowns' of how stuff works, by telling me that is a thing
As far as I remember yes, a DC motor will run backwards if the power is reversed on some motors at least.
Granted, but that's not quite the same, as turning the batteries upside down in a little plastic widgetty thing tho is it?
Perhaps 'On-trail, electronic re-engineering' could constitute a whole n'uther thread ?
As could "Nevis makes his own intent'se fun in the country, using a few, easy-to-find, household items"
Well I might have to hold my hand up and say sorry ??? I'll keep searching but looks like I dreamt it
Jaysus it's worrying how the mention of a plastic bag, some cable ties and a cork can descend into fantasy that quick!!!

From the pics on Instagram that "naked" polytunnel looks like it'll be a nightmare to sort out, good luck with that.Sorry
I'm currently suffering some 'large, unruly, acreages-of-polythene-that-need-restraining' issues, at work.
These, may well, be seeping into my overall consciousness ...

Hopefully you've not had the continual rain/sleet we've had all day.
The easiest way to deflate a mat is to open the valve when you're lying on it. When you come to pack its nearly empty.
What? You mean you dont use yours as a miniature Leaf Blower to clear the porch of twigs and leaves? Using it to inflate my mat is just an added bonus...
