From Ron on the FB page:

Many Thanks for all the feed back on colors. Note that we do have some other info/data we factored into the choice vs a straight vote count from the below posts but in general it looks like most should be happy.

**We will be reordering the gray and yellow.

**We will be replacing the darker brown with the slightly ligher brown.

**We will be adding the #2 Green that is named by Pantone Color Matching as "Dried Herb"...We will call it Stealth Green or something...

The "Herb" should be available in early October. When it arrives we will add the color option on the website.

I've got a current shiny brown. I prefer the new brown, but would go for the green No 1.

Yes - in fact all on the bottom row look nice. I'm partial to a green myself but I reckon the new brown would look great from inside on a sunny morning - like coffee!

When you get it, let us know what you think of it.
I like the brown, but green would be a first choice.

Saw some tweets over the weekend suggesting the new silnylon is lighter and less stretchy, I've not seen anything from MLD saying this, has anyone else?

That herb green does look nice, but I've always fancied a yellow or red trailstar. Then again the existing grey looks more like green to me....

I've got the 'stealth red' version... :D

not sure about stealth, but it looks great. I had a bright yellow tent a while back, and I loved that every morning looked super sunny and bright until I opened the doors...

It does mess with your colour vision inside too. My iPhone screen was a very nice blue and the easily recognisable and coloured stuff sacks were a bit of a challenge at first. :)

Agree that Tarptent would do itself good to have a colour option. Love my Solomid XL in the dark brown. Ron's always evolving. Makes good stuff.

Can confirm slightly lighter and next to no stretch . No need to retighten guys before bed, which i did with my first TS

Interestingly, I've not found the need to retighten the guys on my 2 year old (grey) TS, maybe the fabric stretch behaviour changed before I got mine?

Think change in fabric is only frim early this year onwards

That 11g weight difference is so small, I wouldn't think the fabric is the major cause. Could be anything. I reckon there'd be more variation within a batch of the same fabric?

But it's good it doesn't stretch so much. Mine is 2012 and stretches a little when wet, but no worse than any other tent/tarp I've had.
( which has been pretty much a non-issue in my camping career - it's 2nd nature to check everything before sleeping, unless weather warm and settled)

Agreed Mole, think he mentioned 10-15 % ( I think) lighter..which giving a diff cut on just one panel is next to nothing in gain, but better than being heavier at least
