Is the weight reason you have a strap loop rather than a velcro strap loop? I'd need to undo the strap stitching to be able to put this on my pack, and I don't have a sewing machine that would be capable of sewing 3 layers of webbing to stitch it back up.

I sell a Velcro version too for those who can't remove straps.

Any idea when the strap pocket's going to be available (we've got a Turkish friend studying in the UK coming back during the Christmas holidays who could bring some goodies for us)?

So today i got some great news. A huge number of listings from my copycat on ebay got removed. I applied to trademark TLG a good while ago as someone was using my name all over their listings. On first contacting ebay they said there's nothing we can do if you dont have a registered trademark so i had to stump up a fair bit of cash to do it. After i got the certificate i got cold feet as they appear to be a teenager and i didnt want to get involved in crushng a young mans dreams. Initially it was the old "like tread lite gear" in the title or "not made by tread lite gear" in the description along with subtle digs at dispatch times and price and postage charges. Last week i noticed several of their items were actually listed in the brand description as my brand. They offer free gifts with 3 items and i had someone contact me saying they hadnt received their free gift and were going to leave me negative feedback. Another customer contacted me saying their stuff sack had disintegrated after the first use also threatening all sorts. I can handle the "like TLG" as it actually serves to advertise my kit to people who dont know it but customers thinking i was putting out this stuff was too much. they also sell from a personal account rather than a business account so im guessing their ability to provide free worldwide shipping is because they dont have to pay any income tax which really grinds my gears. So a good day. I have no fear of competition as it keeps me on my toes and makes me innovate and think about my offer but my ebay sales have gone down a good amount since they started selling off the back of my rep. I saw them mentioned on here a long time ago but chose not to comment as i dont want to come across as the only seller of kit or make people worry about mentioning something similar. To be clear, if you see someone doing what i do with similar products i cant and wont have an issue unless they are using my name or are operating under the tax radar. Its caused me a lot of stress and sleepless nights but hopefully they will get the message

That was messed up, I didn't even know anything about it. I hate this kind of behaviour. I have a saved search for a particular anatomy book which is expensive as a book as well as an ebook. I kept getting notifications about PDFs being sold, which I knew were bootlegs. I keep reporting them to eBay, because it's annoying, but it's also unfair to the author, when the original products are available in multiple formats.

Put this down as a good day today.

I've seen the seller post "like treadlite, zpacks" but hadn't seen them post under your name. Hope that's it sorted now and your sales pick back up.

In a similar note... dutch has just started selling a very similar stake back to one you make.

yes i put that in my design book after you mentioned you didnt want to use the buckle. Its taken me this long to find a powermesh i was happy with lol

I've made some adjustments to overseas shipping prices in a good direction. Europe £3 under £30. Free £30-50 and £5 tracked over £50. Similar for worldwide destinations. See website for details.

They just take so long to make it would eat too much time. I'm already working long hours and time is fully utilised so from a business standpoint they just aren't viable. I might have one in a draw that I can seal up and you can have it with my compliments. Drop me a line when your mule is in country :biggrin:
