Best pot size for boiling water

I made a 10g aluminium lid for the Sterno Inferno pot by cutting the top off a Fray Bentos steak and kidney pudding container.

To save anyone the bother,

Basically the Toaks 650 and 700 are near as dammit the same capacity in practice. Both are as light as you can get for the capacity.

Choose the 650 if you prefer a mug type container with mug type handles and the 700 if you want a lower/wider pan shape with pan type handles.

I've veered a bit more towards mugs recently, for another reason. I normally make some filter coffee in the morning, and it is easier to pour water more controllably with the narrower diameter of a mug. Despite the pouring 'spout' on the Evernew 600 wide it is not so easy to pour gently from it
