Tony has confirmed the grey one in the photo is a sample, he's expecting the production grey to have a logo the same size as the red but he wont be able to confirm for sure until they arrive. Can't make my mind up which I prefer, might ask @Diddi 's opinion...
What do you want to see? Not much more to show. There's a gap in the top between the tape for the handle to insert/remove the bag when required.
Not arrived yet but joined the Mass drop for Toaks Ti shot "glasses" and am seriously thinking about the offer on a Jetboil Minimo... Edit: I think i will end up spending my cash on an MSR WindBoiler as if I need to simmer, I will use the Kovea Spider.. the "All in One" would be for TGOChallenge/similar where it's probably going to be windy and all I want is hot water for dried meals...
A fridge for the home. Son thought it was time we had one. He doesn't like our 'cheese drawer' in summer
I wouldn't have minded seeing it from the top as I could t quite make out what it looked like, but that's cool, I'm camping with Paul from tread lite I'm sure it won't be too much trouble for him to tell me about it!!! Thanks for the reply though.
Its a rectangle with an opening to put a bag in Steve and a hole to poke a tap out of. Im not talking about work this weekend October 24th 2015 was the last time i spent any time camping. I want to talk about anything but making stuff
Not quite seasonal but items on 50% sale rarely are: Montbell Ultra-Light Down Jacket (#1101374) and Alpine Down Jacket (#1101436). £170 for the two of them...
Sadly not an online shop: in-shop bargain corner at The Overlander in Mong Kok (Hong Kong), not even listed amongst the website sale items.
Aiguille detachable pockets. Turns the Exped Thunder 70 into a monster load carrier (an extra 17L). A bit heavy at 388g per pair but bomb proof in tough Cordura. I stuck a tent in each pocket (Laser Comp and F10Nitro Lite 200) to show the capacity. Probably a bit of overkill but if I ever do a trip to somewhere like Sarek, it gives enough flexibility to take 10-12 days food. Also means as the volume drops, I could take the pockets off and stow them. Surprised how well the simple attachment worked. 2kg for an 87L rucksack is not too bad.
They do when I've used them. I only have the small ones now. Gobsmacked anyone here has bought such 'trad' gear though!
Just ordered another pair pretty much all I've worn since January for everything, work, hills, woods, shops etc. They're destroyed now but my average walking is about 10 miles a day and mostly on tarmac. Maybe 1000 miles. The foam in the sole is a bit squashed and my feet have started to feel a little fatigued after a long day because of that. Really like them though.
Couple of Zebralights arrived today With it's Dad and Grandad Amazing really, i thought the first SC600 was small (far right) but it's shrunk as well as gotten more powerful I may have a bit of a Zebralight tendency
Lost my H32w camping two weeks ago... can't afford to replace just now and had just ordered 10 batteries for the darn thing..
