With Blueberries all over the place its time to test some more drybaking skills....

This time with TD XS Caldera cone and DIY #epicurean style esbit stove...the smallest TD cone was made to work with 400ml Evernew cup and thus I had to locate the smallest baking pan which I did here:

The smallest pan (4 inch) fits the 400ml EV perfectly if you trim the edges (sanding it off):

The goal was to determin if 9g of hexi tab can bake a BIG size muffin in "real world" conditions. Here's the process:

- prepare your muffin mix at home around 70g all in (flour + banana chips + baking powder + salt + sugar + cinammon) and pack into ziplock,
- hit the trail & pick up some wild fruits,
- stop for a break,
- mix the water directly into the ziplock, mix thoroughly, cut off one bottom corner & squeeze the batter into you baking pan..be careful not to add too much as fruits will let out lots of water while cooking (pan lined with baking paper + sides oiled with olive oil),
- add wild fruits (go crazy with it for the best results:)),
- place the pan into the pot, light your hexi, place the cone and off you go....:whistling::hungry:

Check during baking process..once the hexi burns out (around 15mins) let it rest for a while to cool off and bake even more....be careful its EXTREME HOT...after another 15 mins remove the pan and voila..PIPING HOT BLUEBERRY MUFFIN..:hungry:

Final result:
- yes you can drybake with cup as small as EV 400,
- yes 9g hexi is enough to get nice brown crust,
- yes 70g of dry mix + some wild fruits yeilds AMAZING muffin...;)

Ups I forgot to paste the pics...
